Fresh forest fruits and a tad of smokiness. Made in the lighter style with subtle oak and good persistence on the palate. Serve at room temp 15-17 degrees or chills beautifully in a hot climate. Serve with light meats. Handcrafted using traditional techniques, this wine was fermented in open topped fermenters with a judicious mix of destemmed fruit and whole bunches. Plunged by hand and gently pressed to extract the ripe tannins and flavours of the vintage. Matured on lees for 5 months in older French puncheons. Mainly neutral puncheons, 5% new oak • Bottled unfiltered and unfined
